We found these friendly people who hire VW campers on the island by chance, and what a good find and friendly bunch they are. Nothing seams to be to much trouble for them. A fabulous range of campers that are available with more extras than you can shake a stick at. For all you connoisseurs of VW campers, they have Type 2 1970s beautifully restored camper vans and the 2007 Brazilian model. Whichever is your preference, they are all so full of character that we are happy to bet that you will have named yours by the second day of your holiday. We did. They just conjure up fond memories of fun and youth. There are so many fabulous places to explore on this great island. The staff will supply you with a list and present you with a welcome hamper of local yummy produce to boot.

A beautiful Georgian country house sitting in its own pretty secluded gardens just moments from the old village and a short stroll from the beach and Shanklin Chine. The bedrooms, like the rest of the house, are stunning, best described as a wonderful combination of country house elegance, Chelsea House chic and Kensington style which simply works so incredibly well. How very civilised to be able to take breakfast up until 10.30am and they are just sensational. From a cliff-top position amidst award winning beautiful sub-tropical gardens, the Carlton Hotel has absolutely fabulous views across Shanklin Beach, Sandown Bay to the ocean beyond.
