The location is perfect for touring the island, as you are never more than a half hour's drive from any point on the Isle of Wight. Blanding’s bed and breakfast sits within a small group of farm buildings and in its past life was the piggery and wainhouse where the farm carts were stored. Now lovingly transformed without detriment to its fine architectural heritage, it provides beautiful en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation with a superb wooden sun deck that in the warmer months provides a delightful spot for taking breakfast, basking in the sun or relaxing with evening sundowners. Talking of breakfast, they are sensational and cooked by Erica using only the finest of fresh local produce; the only additives in Erica’s kitchen are love and dedication. For the more independent of you Pond Cottage provides stunning self-catering holiday accommodation. The cottage is immaculately presented and well equipped right down to the little things that you always need but so rarely find when self catering. Pond Cottage has a private lawn and outside seating area with furniture and barbecue equipment. The real stars here are Robin and Erica, the hard working and friendly couple who own and run Horringford Gardens, whose passion and commitment to providing their guests with a fabulous and friendly holiday experience on the Island is simply astonishing. What a delightful stay with two fabulous hosts! |

The result is a fabulous plethora of luxurious, tantalisingly sensual and romantic accommodation with more extras than you can shake a stick at. Located in beautiful grounds inc gardens and woodland at St Catherine's Point overlooking the beautiful & untamed rugged coastline and the ocean beyond. The Old Rectory Resting quietly in the heart of the tranquil and ancient village of Whitwell sits this magnificent house, a beautiful example of Victorian Gothic Revival. For Selina, an accomplished musician and Jon, a noted artist, the restoration of their wonderful home has been a labour of love. It shows. Exquisite accommodation and reception rooms adorned with fine period furniture & the walls are hung with a collection of Jon's works of art. The pretty garden is home to many species of wildlife, and just a short distance away you will find Steephill Cove, one of the most beautiful, romantic and secluded coves on the island. The drawing room houses Selina's magnificent Bluthner grand piano and if you are very lucky you may hear her play. This is an enchanting and very romantic place to stay. |

Sunnyside Cottage Out of a period farm stable was born Sunnyside Cottage that has been lovingly converted and restored by its talented and friendly owners Sabrie and Brian without detriment to its fine character & heritage. This super cottage sits on a working organic farm and lies between the ancient & charming villages of Godshill and Whitwell in beautiful rolling countryside, only four miles from the Victorian seaside town of Ventnor. The cottage is beautifully presented & has 4 double bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The dining table will seat 10 comfortably, the kitchen has been superbly fitted out with everything, the Chesterfield and Windsor chairs add a real touch of luxury to this wonderful holiday cottage. French windows lead off one of the bedrooms and the kitchen to a walled patio area with barbecue and outdoor heater for al fresco dining. What a super cottage |
