Country House Hotel and Restaurant is a beautiful Victorian country
house set in three acres of mature gardens. Built in the 1860’s as a
grace and favour home for a Lady in Waiting to HRH Queen Victoria (and
she must have been a favourite of Queen Victoria because the house is
simply stunning) it still retains its historical atmosphere whilst
providing contemporary and elegant accommodation in a relaxed country
house style with fabulous facilities including indoor and outdoor
swimming pools, together with Jacuzzi, sauna, and a health suite that
provides a range of holistic therapies and unashamed pampering. The
Bourne Hall Hotel and its fabulous elevated location above Sandown Bay
makes it an exquisite and truly romantic venue for a gay civil wedding
ceremony, and the happy couple will delight in the split-level
four-poster and oh so romantic bridal suite that is absolutely fabulous
with its huge Jacuzzi bath, mini-bar and more extras than you could
shake a stick at. Carol and her friendly team of staff really push the

It really is Chelsea House chic with Kensington class food by the sea. There is a plethora of individually styled rooms, suites & apartments, all of which just ooze originality, style and luxury. They also have a self catering option for the more independent guest called Myrtle Cottage, a fabulous little hideaway that rocks. It has to be the chicest fisherman's cottage we have ever seen. The whole atmosphere in the hotel is warm, friendly & welcoming. Nothing seems too much trouble for Andrew and his very hardworking staff. If you adore originality and luxury by the sea, try the Seaview - it's fabulously different. |

Their style brief must have been "only the best will do" without it would appear, thought of cost. The result is a fabulous plethora of luxurious, tantalisingly sensual and romantic accommodation with more extras than you can shake a stick at. Located in beautiful grounds including gardens and woodland at St Catherine's Point overlooking the beautiful and untamed rugged coastline and the ocean beyond. Without doubt, this is one of the most amazing, luxurious and unique hideaways we have ever seen, and what a fabulously romantic fairytale wedding venue The Enchanted Manor makes. Priceless. |

Yelf's Hotel Set amongst the vibrant village-like atmosphere of Union Street Ryde, Yelf's Hotel has been welcoming weary travellers, holidaymakers and locals alike for 200 years. Talking of locals, hearing the happy and gentle conversation drift from the bar as you wander through the pleasingly quirky layout of this hotel just adds to the whole incredibly friendly atmosphere here. The bedrooms are very comfortable, well-equipped and immaculately clean, and the friendly, helpful smiley team of staff all wear uniforms so that you won't be asking another guest for a tray of tea. The food here is simply superb with a choice of bar or restaurant meals, and dining in the traditional style restaurant with its immaculately laid tables with crisp white linen is an enjoyable experience. Good old fashioned service is still alive and kicking. A great little stay in Ryde. |

The Grange A beautiful Georgian country house sitting in its own pretty secluded gardens just moments from the old village and a short stroll from the beach and Shanklin Chine. The bedrooms, like the rest of the house, are stunning, best described as a wonderful combination of country house elegance, Chelsea House chic and Kensington style which simply works so incredibly well. How very civilised to be able to take breakfast up until 10.30am and they are just sensational. This really is a unique & very special oasis of luxury that is only two and a half hours away from London but spiritually a thousand miles away. |
