Gay Owned and Run Bed and Breakfast, Adgestone,
Brading, Isle of Wight High Pines Gay Bed and Breakfast, Lower Road, Adgestone, Brading, Isle of Wight ![]() www.highpinesiow.com This beautiful bed and breakfast lies in the tranquil hamlet of Adgestone in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the village of Brading and provides some of the most spectacular views on the island, such as Culver Down. High Pines is a must for those of you who adore rural retreats surrounded by beautiful countryside. The added bonus here is that you are only a two-mile scenic drive to the beach. The accommodation here at High Pines is simply stunning: the large en-suite guest room enjoys triple aspect far-reaching views across the south facing garden to the fields beyond whilst providing plenty of natural light. There is a choice of extremely comfortable twin or super king-size beds and the beautiful en-suite has a large powerful shower. The guest room is incredibly well equipped with: comfy settee, leather easy chair, flat screen Freeview TV with DVD, wireless internet access, alarm clock, hair drier, makeup mirror, iron and board, silent mini-fridge containing mineral water, and fresh milk, bathrobes, slippers, complementary toiletries and a generous hospitality tray. Taking breakfast here is a delight and is served in your room or on the patio in the glorious morning sunshine. What makes High Pines so special for me is that apart from the obvious comfort, style and quality of everything provided here, it is without doubt the hospitality and friendliness of Nick the owner whose little finishing touches together with his attention to detail make staying at High Pines very special and something you will wish to repeat again soon. |

Mulberry Lawn In a peaceful & tranquil setting aside a quiet lane is where we found this beautiful period stone house that has many original features including a beautiful and imposing porch, shuttered windows and majestic chimneys. The location couldn't be better: being just three miles from either Bembridge with its quiet harbour & safe sandy beaches or the bustling atmosphere of Sandown with all its amenities and fabulous beach. There are two apartments here at Mulberry Lawn. The top floor apartment has a balcony with panoramic views across Brading Downs to the west and across the valley to Bembridge, and cheeky sea views to the east. The ground floor apartment looks out across the pretty gardens. This house is full of atmosphere and Kate is a fabulously friendly host who has thought of everything. Fabulous. |
